About this role

A path for every ambition.

At HUB, we believe the best work happens when people are given real space to grow and then given the autonomy to exercise it. We power progress and protect ambition: for the clients who count on us, and equally for the people who make that possible every day.

We’re creative thinkers and determined doers, guided by values that show up in how we work together: with empathy, adaptability, accountability and a genuine commitment to one another’s success. We foster bold ideas, celebrate curiosity and share what we know. Because when people grow, the work they do grows with them.

Our purpose is deeply human: to help people navigate the world on their terms, at their speed, toward their future. We hold that same commitment to the people building careers here.

Whether you’re starting out or leveling up, you’ll find the resources to evolve, the support to take on more and a team ready to back you at every stage.

Your ambition has a home here.

Role Summary

The EA Portfolio & SOP Lead owns the documentation lifecycle across the full Enterprise Applications (EA) portfolio as a standing function, not a single deliverable. The role owns and matures the processes that support IT General Controls (ITGC), ensuring Internal Audit evidence requests operate as routine output. The role aligns documentation to the pace of system change (upgrades, migrations, sunsets) as it happens and builds the audit-cadence infrastructure beneath the documents: review scheduling, version control, and ongoing library development discipline.

The role allows staff accountable for EA Run, Grow, and Transform delivery to stay focused on those responsibilities, and preserves documentation quality and consistency as audit requests, timelines, escalation volume, and ITGC discipline scale with the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Documentation lifecycle ownership

- Owns the full lifecycle (kickoff, research, drafting, screenshots and formatting, revisions, publish) for all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and reference documents across the EA portfolio.

- Produces documentation for each new application, integration, or line of business entering the portfolio, and keeps it current through upgrades, migrations, and sunsets.

- Partners with subject matter experts (SMEs), including application administrators and engineers, on technical-accuracy review only. Coordinates drafting, formatting, and publishing around SME workload.

ITGC and audit support

- Owns the SOX and financial-systems documentation subset directly.

- Supports the IPO Readiness program by fulfilling PwC and Internal Audit evidence requests tied to named tickets and control artifacts.

- Owns and matures the processes that support ITGC controls, so evidence production is a repeatable operating output each cycle.

Audit-cadence infrastructure

- Manages the recurring review schedule (semi-annual, annual, and as-needed) independent of SME tracking.

- Establishes and maintains documentation version control, review scheduling, and library management discipline across the portfolio.

- Maintains documentation infrastructure: knowledgebase index, templates, and style standards.

Proactive reporting

- Reports audit-status metrics to EA leadership on a recurring cadence.

- Surfaces portfolio documentation health, additions, requests, and escalations to Directors and Vice Presidents proactively, without waiting for a status request.

- Aligns documentation deliverables with the EA change calendar so documentation is delivered as systems change, not reconstructed afterward.

Required Qualifications

- 5 years of experience in technical documentation, process documentation, or IT operations documentation in an enterprise environment.

- Demonstrated ownership of a documentation or process library at portfolio scale, including version control and review cycles.

- Working knowledge of ITGC and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) control environments, and the ability to keep team SOPs clear, aligned to ITGC controls, and defensible with internal and external auditors.

- Ability to translate SME input into clear, accurate, consistently formatted procedures.

- Strong written communication and the ability to report portfolio status to Director and VP audiences.

- Ability to prioritize and hold cadence across competing requests without day-to-day direction.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) application portfolios, including vendor-managed upgrade and release cycles.

- Familiarity with insurance brokerage or insurance technology platforms (for example, agency management and benefits administration systems).

- Experience with documentation frameworks and knowledgebase platforms.
