About this role

Candescent is a forward-thinking technology company transforming how financial institutions deliver Intelligent Banking experiences. We unite digital banking, account opening, and branch solutions that power and connect digital banking, account opening, and branch solutions—creating seamless engagement across digital, remote, and in-person channels.

Our Experience-Led, Intelligence-Driven approach combines human-centered design with data, automation, and cloud-based innovation. Built on an API-first architecture, our extensible ecosystem enables institutions to adapt quickly, integrate easily, and unlock new opportunities for growth—turning every customer interaction into a moment of clarity, confidence, and connection.

As Product Catalog Manager, you will oversee governance of Candescent's product portfolio catalog and help guide the transition from four disparate pricing and packaging systems into a unified model. You are responsible for managing the enterprise Product Catalog as a strategic business capability within the Product Success organization, owning catalog intake and governance, operating model maturity, lifecycle management, and the transformation of the Product Catalog into a scalable Product Knowledge capability.

This role leads the transition of catalog ownership into Product Success while simultaneously driving the future-state architecture required to support Votiv, Forge, and legacy product portfolios, pricing and packaging strategies, bundling models, product lifecycle management, and customer migrations. You serve as the primary steward of product portfolio information, ensuring consistency across Product Management, Sales, Finance, Operations, Customer Success, Billing, Contracting, and Technology functions.

The role reports into the Product Knowledge Manager within Product Success, positioning you at the intersection of product strategy, operational rigor, and business impact. It governs and facilitates catalog processes — it does not replace the business and technology leaders accountable for product, pricing, finance, architecture, or platform decisions.

Catalog governance and stewardship

- Own enterprise catalog governance: taxonomy, hierarchy, naming conventions, standards, versioning, and lifecycle controls
- Manage intake and governance workflows for new products, SKUs, rate plans, packages, bundles, and charge models
- Confirm required inputs, approvals, and documentation are complete before changes advance
- Maintain decision records, approval history, and audit-ready evidence
- Establish approval/escalation paths for routine, material, and exception changes
- Coordinate the Product Catalog Governance Board and escalate unresolved decisions and risks

Zuora Product Catalog integrity

- Serve as business steward for the Zuora Product Catalog (product, rate-plan, charge structures) across standalone and bundled offerings
- Ensure approved offer, pricing, billing, tax, and revenue attributes are accurately represented, in partnership with domain owners
- Monitor data quality, completeness, and control adherence; drive remediation with the appropriate owner
- Note: Enterprise Applications retains responsibility for platform configuration, deployment, and environment integrity

Cross-functional decision orchestration

- Route requests per the approved RACI; confirm appropriate domain-owner approval
- Support alignment on offer design, pricing, billing/financial treatment, data models, integrations, quote configuration, and downstream impacts

Lifecycle, launch and operational readiness

- Coordinate readiness for product introductions, catalog releases, migrations, retirements, and decommissions
- Track dependencies, approvals, testing, deployment activities, risks, and decision blockers
- Verify completion and retention of required release/regression-testing evidence
- Facilitate lifecycle reviews and backlog prioritization

Reporting and continuous improvement

- Define and report catalog KPIs, e.g.: change-request cycle time, % of changes with complete audit evidence, launch on-time rate, backlog age
- Identify control gaps and process friction; recommend improvements to governance, standards, and tooling
- Provide concise reporting to Product Knowledge leadership and the Governance Board on catalog health, decisions, risks, and readiness

Qualifications

- 5+ years in product catalog management, product operations, offer management, pricing/packaging, billing operations, or related SaaS/technology discipline
- Zuora Product Catalog experience preferred; familiarity with Zuora Billing, CPQ, CRM, and financial integrations valuable
- Demonstrated experience running governance, intake, approval, change-control, and audit-evidence processes
- Working knowledge of pricing, packaging, subscription billing, consumption models, and revenue-recognition considerations
- Strong cross-functional leadership; able to coordinate decisions without holding domain-owner decision rights
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, including KPI definition and backlog management
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Management, Finance, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree/certification preferred
