Position Overview

SUMMARY (BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB)

The IT Data Architect defines and governs Capital Health's enterprise data architecture to support clinical care, operational excellence, analytics, internally developed products, workflow automation, and responsible artificial intelligence. The role establishes the long-term information architecture, domain models, integration principles, cloud data platform direction, governance patterns, and technical standards required to make enterprise data trusted, secure, interoperable, reusable, and AI-ready.

Special Training:

Training in enterprise architecture, DAMA data management disciplines, Microsoft Azure and Fabric, healthcare data standards including HL7 and FHIR, cybersecurity, privacy, responsible AI, architecture review, and executive communication is preferred.

Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities:

Must demonstrate enterprise systems thinking, strategic judgment, influence without authority, intellectual curiosity, disciplined decision-making, clear communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, and the ability to balance long-term architecture with pragmatic delivery needs.
