Join us in making a meaningful impact in Cleveland, Ohio! Lead the team that gets product ready for our stores. As the Central Processing Lead, you'll direct day-to-day central processing activities. You'll make sure products are accurately sorted and tagged to meet store requirements, and you'll keep the team's workflow smooth.
Responsibilities
- Make sure assignments are finished on time and goals are met, as set by the Director of Store Planning and Optimization
- Tag and sort products into black containers and move them to the designated location
- Check products for damage as quality assurance
- Keep accurate production counts and meet goals for each project or assignment
- Keep up with brand names, maker's marks, vintage items, and price points
- Give your supervisor daily updates on operations, staffing, and issues that need attention
- Train new team members in their positions, and work with your supervisor to give the team formal feedback
- Keep a smooth, efficient workflow for all staff throughout the shift
- Keep the processing area neat and clean
- Operate tow motors and other material-handling equipment safely
- Follow all safety policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Good people skills
- Knowledge of merchandise such as name brand, antiques, vintage, and collectibles
- Able to identify different shades and tones of color
- Computer experience preferred
- Tow motor certification through Goodwill, and the ability to safely operate all related material-handling equipment
