About this role
Healthcare’s helping hand.
CHG shook things up in 1979 by inventing the locum tenens staffing model. We connect doctors with patients who need their care. As the largest physician staffing firm in America, our providers treat millions of patients each year.
Our industry is growing and demand is high. This means you’ll have plenty of opportunities to grow and develop in your career. Keeping healthcare healthy can be as fun as it is rewarding
CHG is looking for a Sales Strategy Analyst to join our Sales Analytics team. The Sales Analytics team supports our sales divisions by proactively seeking out data-driven insights. As a Sales Strategy Analyst on the Sales Analytics team, you will serve as a strategic thought partner to senior leaders, framing the right business question before diving into analysis, then using data to identify sales trends, diagnose performance gaps, uncover opportunities, and recommend the next best action for the business. This role will report to the Manager of Analytics & Business Intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Problem framing and partnership: Partner with sales leaders early to sharpen strong requests, asking probing questions to fill in details, frame the underlying problem, and clarify the decision the analysis supports, then present complex findings to senior sales leaders clearly and concisely, with recommendations on market opportunities, sales effectiveness, and resource allocation.
- Sales and business analytics: Apply your experience with sales funnels and broader sales knowledge to analyze performance across markets, teams, and clients, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities, and run root-cause analysis when KPIs shift, confirming whether a shift is real or simply a product of seasonality or how the metric is calculated.
- Data and SQL: Use Snowflake and SQL to extract and analyze large datasets across business functions and build visualizations that make complex findings clear for senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to reframe ambiguous or loosely scoped business questions into structured, answerable analysis
- Strong understanding of sales funnels, pipeline management, forecasting, and customer segmentation
- Great written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting findings to senior executives
- Strong proficiency in SQL and ability to analyze large datasets
Education & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in analytics (business analytics, sales analytics, or related)
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Preferred
- Industry experience in healthcare or a similar metric-driven environment
