Job Description

Position: Scaler

- Rotate among multiple workstations and perform assigned production duties.
- Transfer raw product from the cooler to the meat dumper using a walk-behind pallet jack or similar equipment.
- Operate dumper controls and computer systems to transfer product into hoppers.
- Accurately weigh ingredients according to product specifications.
- Transfer pre-weighed ingredients into ingredient hoppers for processing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support production operations.

Requirements

- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing.
- Basic math skills required for weighing and measuring ingredients accurately.
- Ability to use simple measuring instruments and follow product specifications.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to continuously lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good physical condition with the ability to perform constant reaching, pushing, and pulling motions.
- Willingness and ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Rehire Criteria

- All applicants must provide their government identification number to verify any previous Tyson employment history.

- Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.
- Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
