Description of the role :

The Body Repair Technician at Jim Taylor Buick GMC will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition. This position requires a strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of experience in the field and a strong commitment to providing high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

- Repairing and replacing damaged body parts, including fenders, hoods, doors, and bumpers

- Sanding, priming, and painting vehicles

- Straightening and aligning vehicle frames

- Welding and using other tools to repair damaged areas

- Inspecting vehicles for additional damage

- Working with customers to explain repair processes and provide accurate time estimates

Requirements :

- 1 to 2 years of experience as a Body Repair Technician

- Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques

- Proficiency in using tools and equipment commonly used in body repair

- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
