Job Summary
The Fill-In Pharmacist provides pharmacy coverage on an as-needed basis when the regular pharmacist is unavailable. This position offers a flexible schedule, with the pharmacist contacted as coverage needs arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely.
- Provide medication counseling and answer patient questions.
- Oversee pharmacy sta ff and assist with daily operations as needed.
- Maintain compliance with applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Help ensure continuity of patient care during coverage shifts.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Current, active pharmacist license in the state of Arkansas.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to pharmacy needs.
- Familiarity with the PioneerRx operating system.
