About this role
We are seeking a Senior Portfolio Accountant, Reporting & Compliance to join our growing team at Solar Landscape. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking full ownership of their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to contribute to a mission-driven renewable energy company.
You will work across three connected areas:
Portfolio accounting and reporting. Deliver reporting that leadership, investors, and lenders rely on.
Financing and capital contribution transactions. Bring newly closed projects and financing transactions onto the books, support debt and tax equity fundings, and act as a reliable accounting contact for lenders and investors.
Compliance through the operating life. Keep each financing vehicle compliant long after its projects reach commercial operation: covenant and DSCR testing, reserves, distributions and waterfalls, capital accounts, and recurring lender and investor reporting.
The ideal candidate brings strong US GAAP fundamentals, has worked with partnership and financing structures, exercises independent judgment, and is comfortable coordinating across finance, legal, subscriber management, asset management, and outside parties in a fast-paced, mission-driven company.
The Senior Portfolio Accountant will play a hands-on role across key accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, analytics, audit preparation, and compliance with financial and regulatory requirements. This position offers meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to make a real impact as we continue to scale our business.
