Baptist Health is hiring a Patient Access Representative III at Baptist Neurosurgery located at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time day-shift opportunity, and will report to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

As the Patient Access Representative III , you will work in the Neurosurgery department, which consists of providing business services for patients and the healthcare system.  Duties include utilizing multiple systems and interfaces to register Neurosurgery patients accurately and efficiently, cross-training in order to work in multiple patient access areas, maintaining service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters, and contributing to PAS Goals as defined annually.  In this office, you will work with phenomenal providers and staff, and work in a beautiful location.  This office is high volume and high profile which means you will never be bored! Patient Access Representative III Job Requirements:

- Possessing a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations
- Maintaning a strong professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinilal team members
- Articulating compliance documentation
- Ensuring completion of required patient consent forms
- Maintaining patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Being on the On Call Team during week-long rotations
- Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule
- Selecting a region containing 4 Baptist Facilities and traveling to assignments within
- Coaching team members
- Providing quality feedback to increase compliance and accuracy

Experience Requirements:

- One-Two Years Customer Service Experience Required
- One-Two Years Insurance Experience Required
- One-Two Years Healthcare Experience Required

Education & Credential Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required
