About this role
Bethany Athletic Club, a premier athletic club in Portlands west side seeks a Senior Maintenance Tech to join the Maintenance team! The successful candidate will create and maintain a premier club that provides an excellent recreational and social experience for the entire family.
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 40 hours week + on-call duties as needed.
Pay: $27-$27.50
Shift: Full-time non-exempt
Drivers License Required.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assists the Project Manager in the daily activities involved in the maintenance of the athletic club, equipment and supplies
- Manage coordination of special projects
- Performing general maintenance and arranging for routine and preventative maintenance throughout the property
- Complies with all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures
- Assists in maintaining overall cleanliness and general up keep of the facility
- Performs tasks that includes painting, plumbing, wall repair and electrical work
- Maintains an organized maintenance shop and storage area.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the field of facilities maintenance preferred
- Possesses basic knowledge and skills to perform general maintenance and repairs to plumbing, painting, wall repair and electrical work.
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools preferred
- CPO certification is a plus

Language Requirement
All team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures. Also required is the ability of employees to speak and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management.
