This is product management with a different kind of customer: Pax8 itself .

Technical Services is our internal IT organization, responsible for much of the technology and services our people use to get work done. As Product Manager, you'll bring product thinking to that environment, creating clear roadmaps, understanding what our internal customers need and helping technical teams focus their capacity on the work that delivers the greatest business value.

Importantly, this isn't a traditional software Product Manager role supporting software engineering teams or building a commercial product for market. You'll work across a broad and evolving internal technology landscape, partnering with technical specialists and business stakeholders to determine what we should prioritize, why it matters and how it connects to Pax8's strategy.

We're also evolving how we work with AI. At Pax8, AI isn't simply about producing more. It's about creating capacity for better thinking, stronger relationships and more time understanding our customers. You'll have the opportunity to grow alongside that technology and help define what great AI-enabled product management looks like.

 Product thinking meets internal technology

Instead of owning a single customer-facing software product, you'll help bring product discipline to the technology ecosystem that enables our people and business to perform at their best.

️ What you'll be doing

️ Build meaningful technology roadmaps
Turn business goals, internal customer needs and technical realities into clear, actionable roadmaps. You'll connect technology priorities back to strategy so stakeholders understand not only what we're doing, but why it matters.

 Turn competing demands into clear priorities
Internal technology creates no shortage of requests. When demand exceeds capacity, you'll bring structure and business judgment to the conversation, helping identify what creates the greatest value and what needs to wait.

欄 Become a trusted partner to the business
Build relationships across Pax8, from senior leaders to the people using our technology every day. You'll get close to the internal customer experience, understand their challenges and translate those needs into meaningful priorities for Technical Services.

⚖️ Balance strategy with the unexpected
Internal IT doesn't always follow the roadmap. You'll help teams continue delivering planned strategic work while responding effectively to the urgent and unexpected without allowing every interruption to become the new priority.

 Bring customer problems to life
Translate desired business outcomes into well-defined product work, including backlogs, user stories and epics. You'll give technical teams clarity around the problem and desired outcome while trusting them to determine the right technical solution.

 Create visibility and confidence
Use roadmaps, metrics and clear communication to help stakeholders understand progress, capacity, priorities and realistic delivery expectations.

烙 Use AI to create capacity for better work
Use AI-enabled tools thoughtfully to improve product workflows and reduce lower-value administrative work. The goal isn't simply to create more backlog. It's to create space for deeper customer conversations, stronger strategic thinking and better decisions.

By connecting business strategy, internal customer needs and technology capacity, you'll help Pax8 make smarter decisions about where our technology teams invest their time. You'll create roadmaps people can understand and trust, strengthen relationships between the business and Technical Services and help ensure our internal technology evolves alongside Pax8.

Your impact won't be measured by how many items you can add to a backlog. It'll be measured by how effectively you help the organization decide what deserves to be there .

 What you'll bring

We're looking for an experienced product professional who understands technology but doesn't need to be the person engineering the solution.

You'll bring:

- Substantial product management expertise , with experience turning complex customer or business needs into clear priorities and roadmaps.
- Proven roadmap ownership , including connecting individual initiatives to broader business strategy and desired outcomes.
- Strong business judgment , particularly when balancing high demand against limited team capacity.
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills , with the confidence to have constructive conversations when the answer needs to be "not yet" or "no."
- Demonstrated stakeholder management , communicating effectively with people across different functions and levels of an organization.
- A practical understanding of Agile ways of working , including managing and continually refining backlogs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to create clarity in ambiguous or rapidly changing situations.
- Technical fluency that allows you to collaborate credibly with technical specialists without needing to own or dictate the solution.
- Experience with product workflow platforms such as Jira , or the ability to become productive with them quickly.
- Curiosity about AI-enabled ways of working , especially how AI can create capacity for better strategic thinking and stronger customer relationships.

 Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $125,000 - $140,000 USD
