About this role
- Primarily supervises the work of all positions within the Housekeeping department.
- Follows up on emails.
- Conducts the daily team meeting.
- Follows step-by-step procedures and must comply with LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) standards.
- Responsible for supervising the cleaning of assigned public areas and all hotel guest rooms.
- Reviews the correct implementation of policies, procedures, and LQA standards within the area.
- Reviews the correct completion of printed forms and charges or transactions in the HMS system (primarily laundry).
- Supervises the proper application of cleaning products.
- Promotes and oversees safety regulations in the area.
- Supervises external laundry operations.
- Inspects all arrival rooms for the day and gives final approval ensuring they are in optimal condition for occupancy.
- Reports anomalies in guest rooms and public areas to the corresponding departments.
- Controls room supply costs and expenses to stay within budget.
- Supports cost-saving initiatives wherever possible.
- Checks and ensures control over electronic keys and keychains for each house assigned to their staff.
- Submits warehouse requests to the purchasing department for missing supplies, amenities, and stationery via the Workday system.
Requirements
- Advanced English proficiency.
- 4 years of experience in luxury hospitality.
