About this role
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of 2-year course or College level
- Preferably with experience in raw materials and/or finished goods inspection in a manufacturing firm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts sampling and evaluates raw materials, work in-process and finished goods according to the standard procedures and based on company's specifications
Visually inspects raw materials, work in-process and finished goods to ensure conformance to standards
- Takes samples of raw materials, work in-process and finished goods following established sampling plans and instructions.
- Prepares meat materials, work in-process and finished goods for sensory evaluation.
- Conducts visual inspection on control samples and reports to QA Specialist any non-conformance observed for proper disposition
- Assists the QA Specialist in the conduct of physical, sensory and line tests raw materials, work in-process and finished goods
- Records pertinent data on samples and result of evaluation in a logbook or verification form.
- Prepares tags for any affected raw materials, work in-process and finished goods.
- Encodes data on result of verification and finished product weight.
- Files records, updates retention samples and tracking
- Ensures compliance of assigned area and storages to established quality management programs
