Responsibilities

- Serve as a senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance for the Consumer Banking Group.
- Provide expert advisory support to business units on complex KYC cases, high-risk customer onboarding, and trigger reviews.
- Formulate, review, and implement robust KYC policies and procedures in alignment with evolving regulatory standards and group policies.
- Drive process optimization, automation, and digital transformation initiatives to enhance KYC operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with Group Compliance, Audit, and Legal stakeholders to manage regulatory risks and address inquiries.
- Execute KYC strategic objectives independently, leveraging senior-level expertise to deliver results.

Requirements

- Extensive professional experience in KYC, AML, or financial crime compliance within the consumer banking or wealth management sector.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards governing consumer banking KYC and customer due diligence.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and risk-assessment skills, with a proven ability to resolve complex compliance issues.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across various business functions.
- Demonstrated experience in managing compliance projects or digital KYC process improvements.
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., CAMS, ICA) is highly preferred.
