About this role

###

Join the team turning internet intelligence into real-world security outcomes. Built on the world’s most comprehensive and accurate map of the Internet , the Censys Platform delivers real-time visibility and actionable intelligence needed to accelerate triage, investigate threats, hunt adversaries, and manage Internet exposure. We're trusted by half of the Fortune 500 and government agencies all around the world, and looking for people as passionate about the problems we're solving as we are.

Censys maps the Internet to make the digital world safer, and the Demand Generation team is how the security teams who need that intelligence find us. As VP, Global Demand Generation, you will own the strategy, team, budget and results for pipeline creation worldwide: integrated campaigns, digital and paid programs, events, lifecycle marketing and the marketing operations that measure all of it. You will set the annual pipeline plan with the CRO and Finance, build and lead a team of managers and senior ICs, and be accountable for marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline against a shared revenue target. This is a build-and-scale role: the foundations exist, and the next stage needs a leader who can turn them into a predictable, data-driven pipeline engine across North America, EMEA and APJ. You will work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Success and Revenue Operations so that every program is tied to how Censys actually sells.

What you'll do:

- Set the global demand generation strategy and annual pipeline plan, including targets by region, segment and channel, in partnership with the CRO and Finance

- Build, lead and develop the Demand Generation organization (campaigns, digital/paid media, events, lifecycle and marketing operations), hiring managers and senior ICs and coaching them to run their own functions

- Own the demand generation budget: allocate spend across channels, forecast pipeline yield and report ROI by program to the executive team

- Design and run integrated, persona-based campaigns across email, paid search and social, web, content syndication and partner channels, from first touch through to opportunity

- Own the global events portfolio (hosted and sponsored) and hold it to the same pipeline and cost-per-opportunity standards as digital programs

- Build the funnel measurement model with Revenue Operations: MQL/SQL definitions, lead scoring, attribution and conversion reporting in Marketo and Salesforce, with regular reviews of lead quality with Sales leadership

- Run lifecycle and nurture programs across the marketing database to convert, re-engage and expand prospects and customers

- Partner with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement so that messaging, content and campaign offers reflect current positioning and what the field needs

- Evaluate and manage the martech stack and agency/vendor relationships supporting demand generation

- Demonstrates curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI

Skills and experience you'll have:

- At least 5 years experience leading a global demand generation function in B2B SaaS, with accountability for a pipeline or revenue number

- Experience building and managing a multi-level team, including hiring and developing managers

- A track record of owning a multi-million-dollar program budget and reporting pipeline ROI to executive leadership and Finance

- Deep working knowledge of full-funnel measurement, lead scoring and attribution in Hubspot (or equivalent) and Salesforce

- Proven results running integrated campaigns across paid digital, email, web, events and content channels in more than one region

- Strong cross-functional partnership with Sales leadership, including defining lead quality and conversion standards together

- Clear, concise communication with executives, with the ability to translate marketing performance into business terms
