About this role
Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain high-quality software applications using .NET technologies and established software engineering best practices.
- Build and enhance user interfaces using modern UI frameworks, including React, to deliver intuitive, responsive, and efficient user experiences.
- Write clean, scalable, efficient, and well-documented code that meets technical specifications and business requirements.
- Collaborate with product owners, technology leads, QA testers, and other developers to define requirements, evaluate solutions, and deliver reliable software.
- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including application design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Develop and maintain application components using technologies such as C#, JavaScript, Python, and SQL Server.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to improving overall code quality and development standards.
- Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve software defects, performance issues, and technical challenges in a timely manner.
- Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies to support efficient project execution, team collaboration, and continuous delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing applications, development workflows, and engineering practices.
- Leverage AWS cloud platforms and services to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable software solutions.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, development frameworks, and industry trends to continuously enhance technical expertise.
- Take ownership of assigned development tasks while collaborating effectively with the wider technology team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development or a related industry.
- Strong hands-on experience with the .NET framework and software application development.
- Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, or Python, with the ability to develop and maintain reliable application components.
- Experience working with SQL Server databases, including database integration and data management.
- Proficiency in one or more modern user interface frameworks, particularly React.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, application architecture, coding standards, and development best practices.
- Practical knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Experience working with AWS cloud platforms and services.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of development assignments while contributing to shared team objectives.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to continuously learn, adapt to new technologies, and improve development processes.
