Junior Finance & Accounting Associate

We at Holycode are currently looking for a Junior Finance & Accounting Associate to join our Finance team here in our Belgrade office.

About the Role:

- You will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks and for issuing invoices to clients, making sure they are correct and sent on time.
- You will maintain accurate records in our invoicing and finance systems.
- You will prepare regular financial reports and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- You will help ensure that the entire financial cycle, from invoicing and payments to reconciliation and reporting, runs smoothly and without delays.
- You will assist with documentation and approval processes for both domestic and foreign clients.
- You will work closely with colleagues across the company and collaborate with clients and external partners such as accounting agencies, auditors and banks.
- You will stay up to date with relevant financial regulations and help implement improvements in procedures where needed.

What you’ll need:

- A university degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in finance or accounting, including invoicing and financial reporting.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and attention to detail.
- You enjoy working in a team and communicate well with both internal and external stakeholders.
- An organized, proactive approach and the ability to manage deadlines.
- You are fluent in English (spoken and written). German is a plus.
