and influence repair contractors to improve scoping quality, promote best
practice, and achieve right-first-time outcomes
- Monitor
repair scope accuracy across the Building Repair Network, identifying
trends and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act
as a technical referral point for home claims colleagues, providing expert
guidance on building pathology, repair methodology, and claim scoping
queries.
- Support
contractor audits, schedule of rates reviews, and governance activities to
ensure fair customer outcomes and regulatory compliance.
Skills and experience you need as Desktop Building Surveyor:
- Strong
background in building surveying, building pathology, reinstatement
scoping, or home insurance building claims.
- Proven
ability to assess building repair scopes, costs, and repair methodologies
with a high level of technical accuracy.
- Confident
