An opportunity for a Real Estate Project Specialist has arisen within Airbus Operations , Getafe (Madrid).
The selected candidate will join the Real Estate Iberia Team, responsible for designing real estate site master plans, managing transactions (investments, purchases, leases, and divestments), and optimizing the footprint across majority-owned entities in Spain and Portugal. The jobholder will reinforce a multicultural and highly motivated team, taking operational autonomy to execute asset lifecycle activities and support strategic real estate projects aligned with Airbus standards and sustainability commitments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
- Manage end-to-end real estate projects across the Iberia region from initiation to closing, including lease negotiations, acquisitions, renewals, and divestments.
- Coordinate interactions and preliminary contractual documentation with external third parties (landlords, brokers, tenants) and internal partners (Legal, Finance, Tax, Procurement).
- Monitor and optimize the Iberia real estate portfolio by assisting in the development and updating of Site Master Plans.
- Execute property valuations, financial analysis, and business cases to support strategic transaction proposals and data-driven decisions.
- Maintain data governance and update internal real estate tools and databases (such as RECLA, GIS, and IFRS16 reporting systems).
- Develop clear dashboards, executive presentations, and reporting on project milestones, budget adherence, and operational KPIs for management review.

- Education: Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in the real estate sector or dedicated post-graduate study.
- Technical knowledge: Working knowledge of Real Estate tools and methodologies: RECLA, BIM, and GIS; basic finance fundamentals (business cases, valuation).
- Soft skills: Strong interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills, operational autonomy, and agility in a collaborative team setting.
- Languages: Advanced / Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English.
