About this role

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Construction Reality Capture Technician to support reality capture activities on large-scale active construction sites in and around Barcelona.
You will operate 360° cameras and other reality capture equipment to systematically document construction progress. Your work will contribute to AI systems used to analyse and monitor construction projects, so accuracy, consistency, safety and reliability are essential.
This is a part-time (one day per week), hands-on field role. You will spend most of your working day on active construction sites, walking across large and sometimes uneven areas and working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including summer heat.

What You'll Do

- Operate 360° cameras and other reality capture equipment to systematically document construction sites.
- Follow detailed technical capture instructions, including required coverage, camera positioning, routes and sequencing.
- Walk extensively across construction sites, including uneven terrain and changing site conditions.
- Wear and correctly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE / EPI).
- Follow each site's occupational health and safety plan (Plan de Seguridad y Salud) and the instructions of the site safety coordinator.
- Communicate daily progress and promptly flag site-access issues, hazards or safety concerns to the Project Lead.
- Report equipment issues or other factors that could affect the quality or completion of a capture.
- Handle, maintain and transport reality capture equipment responsibly.
- Adapt to different construction environments and client-specific site requirements.
- Complete required capture records and documentation accurately.

Requirements

What you need to bring to this role:

Must Have

- A valid Tarjeta Profesional de la Construcción (TPC) or existing construction-sector safety (PRL) training.
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and walk extensively across active construction sites.
- Ability to work safely on uneven terrain and in varying weather conditions.
- Strong reliability and punctuality: you show up when you say you will.
- A safety-first mindset and willingness to follow site health and safety requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently follow precise technical instructions.
- Clear and proactive communication in Spanish.
- Ability to work independently while staying connected with the Project Team.
- Ability to travel independently to assigned construction sites in and around Barcelona.
- Legal right to work in Spain.
- Bilingual: Fluent in English (C1/C2 professional level) and Spanish

Nice to Have

- Previous experience on active construction, civil engineering, surveying or infrastructure sites.
- Experience with 360° cameras, reality capture, laser scanning or similar technical equipment.
- Experience with structured technical procedures, inspection processes or documentation standards.
- Previous experience in a field-based technical role.
- A valid driving licence (B).

Safety, HSE & Site Requirements

Safety is a fundamental requirement of this role. You will work on active construction sites and must comply with Spanish occupational risk prevention law (Ley 31/1995 de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales) and each site's health and safety plan.

Before starting site work, you will complete the mandatory construction-sector PRL training and the site-specific induction.
Where a Tarjeta Profesional de la Construcción (TPC) or equivalent accreditation is required, the employer will arrange and cover the training and card application. Training required by the employer counts as working time.

All required PPE (EPI) is provided free of charge by the employer.

Working Hours & Scheduling

Part-time: one working day per week, with a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 8 hours on that day. The agreed day and hours will be set out in your employment contract.

Daytime hours (e.g. between 07:00 and 16:00). Any change to the agreed day is communicated in advance.

Working time is recorded daily, and you receive a monthly summary of your hours with your payslip.

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate set at €17–18 gross per hour, depending on experience, at or above the applicable collective agreement, paid monthly for the hours worked.

Travel & Transportation

- Primary work locations are construction sites in and around Barcelona.
- Where travel between sites or travel beyond public transport routes is required for work duties, expenses and mileage (kilometraje) will be reimbursed in line with company policy and the applicable collective agreement.

What We Offer

- Hands-on experience with reality capture technology in major construction environments. Training and development in reality capture and construction technology.
- Employment terms, statutory benefits, and working conditions in full accordance with Norwegian statutory requirements.

Project Duration & Employment

This is a project-based role.

The expected duration of employment will depend on the requirements and duration of the relevant construction project. The applicable employment term, including the legal basis and expected end date where required, will be set out in the employment agreement in full accordance with employment law

The Ideal Candidate

You are dependable, safety-conscious and comfortable working independently in a physically active field environment.

If you're comfortable working outdoors, walking extensively across active construction sites and using technology as part of your daily work, we'd like to hear from you.
