About this role
Overview

Microsoft Elevate is chartered with the mission of bringing the power of technology to every non-profit and humanitarian organisation to accelerate Social Good. This organisation brings together our donation and grants programmes, industry solutions, commercial sales efforts and partner ecosystems to empower non-profits globally to address the world's most pressing needs.

As Digital Solution Specialist for AI Business Solutions, you drive the AI Business Process business for Microsoft Elevate across the four France BeNeLux territories, covering education and non-profit organisations, with care (mental healthcare, disability care and elderly care) and social housing among the largest sectors. These are organisations that exist to do good, often working with tight budgets and a heavy administrative load, and the way they run their core processes (student, client and tenant contact, scheduling, finance, HR and supply chain) decides how much time and money is left for their mission. You help them reimagine those processes with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Copilot Studio and AI agents, and you own the business case that makes the change happen.

This is a digital role. You work in a hybrid model from Amsterdam or Dublin, two days a week in the office, alongside an experienced team covering France BeNeLux. Your day is built around customer conversations, partner co-selling and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

Drive the AI Business Process business

Drive the AI Business Process sales cycle across your accounts in all four territories, from qualification through to close, in a joint plan agreed with the Account Executive who owns and orchestrates each territory.

Accelerate, grow and develop pipeline against quarterly targets for AI Business Process revenue, keeping current and next-quarter coverage healthy and a forecast your management and the account team can rely on.

Generate opportunities across the full portfolio: the core of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, and the frontier of Copilot Studio, first-party Dynamics 365 agents and premium Dynamics 365 offerings with embedded agent capabilities.

Protect and grow the installed base: manage renewals together with the Account Executive, address low usage and licence optimisation early, and move customers from standard to premium where the value is there.

Add your own demand generation on top of what the account team and marketing create, through digital signals, personal campaigns, portfolio analysis and social selling, so the pipeline keeps growing from more than one source.

Engage customers and own the business decision

Act as the primary AI Business Solutions expert for your customers, leading value-based conversations with board members, school and university leaders, care directors, and finance, operations and HR leaders as well as IT.

Open every account on the Frontier Transformation story and frame the opportunity in business outcomes, not features: less administrative burden for teachers, care professionals and staff, better service to students, clients and tenants, and finance and operations that run on reliable data.

Run value-based discovery, build business cases and ROI, use customer references and Microsoft's own Customer Zero stories, and deliver high-level demos that make the outcome tangible.

Lead envisioning sessions and workshops, and use seminars and webinars to scale your reach across the education and non-profit markets in France BeNeLux.

Bring the solutions to life

Position the full AI Business Process portfolio: Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service and Contact Center, Finance, Supply Chain Management and Business Central, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate) and Copilot Studio with pre-built and custom agents.

Think wall to wall: a customer who lands on one component is an expansion opportunity across the rest, whether Power Platform stands alone or extends a Dynamics 365 pursuit.

Drive deployment and consumption after the sale, with usage milestones for Copilot Studio and Dynamics 365 agents, and attach the right programmes (such as solution assessments, deployment and migration support, and FastTrack) so customers realise value quickly.

Provide thought leadership on responsible AI, governance and data security in business applications, in line with Microsoft's principles and the expectations of organisations handling sensitive client data.

Scale the business through partners

Partners are central to this role, not an add-on. Many of our customers buy, implement and run their business applications through specialised partners and industry solutions built on Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. This is especially true in social housing, where the business relies heavily on partners, and it matters just as much when you cover four territories across France BeNeLux. The specialists who are most effective here are the ones who treat partners as an extension of their own team and use them to reach far more customers than they could alone.

Build and run joint territory plans with your priority partners, identified together with the Partner Solution Sales and Partner Development teams, and review them in a regular, always-on rhythm.

Share opportunities with partners early and follow up promptly on the leads partners bring to you.

Collaborate with partners for pre-sales, solution design and delivery, and develop joint propositions for sectors such as education, care and social housing that you can repeat across many customers and territories.

Know the partner landscape in your market, including the industry solutions customers already run, and position Microsoft and partner offerings together as one answer to the customer's business challenge.

Work with partners after the sale on deployment, adoption and renewal, so customers realise value and the installed base keeps growing.

How the team works together

You are the AI Business Process specialist in a team that plans and wins together. The Account Executives own and orchestrate the four territories; you drive the AI Business Solutions business across all of them. Pipeline is a shared responsibility, built jointly and worked jointly, and the strongest specialists are the ones who make that partnership productive. These relationships matter most.

The Account Executives own the customer relationship, the account plan and the orchestration of their territory, and are equally responsible for generating pipeline. You build the plan for AI Business Process growth with each of them, agree the priority accounts and the path to target, and review progress in a regular rhythm rather than at quarter end.

The AI Business Process Solution Engineer is your closest partner and owns the technical decision. You bring them in early and shape the technical win together through demos, workshops, proofs of concept and pilots, rather than handing work over.

The AI Workforce specialists are your partners in One AI Business Solutions. You share signal and grow Copilot and AI Workforce deals into business process opportunities, and the other way round.

Peer Solution Specialists across Security and Cloud & AI are how you widen the footprint. You cross-sell into each other's opportunities and pull each other's deals forward.

Partners, Customer Success, FastTrack and the wider virtual team are how you scale and how you clear the blockers that slow deployment down. You orchestrate the right experts at the right moment.

You bring the voice of the customer back inside: field insight from you shapes our go-to-market approach and our product roadmap.

What we expect from you

You bring energy and initiative to a team that is set up to support you. Plans are made together with the Account Executives and the wider virtual team, and once the plan is set we expect you to drive your part of it with real conviction: chasing the opportunities you agreed to chase, keeping deals moving, and looking for the next wave of pipeline while the current one is still in flight.

That means planning to overachieve rather than planning to land exactly on target, qualifying honestly, keeping your pipeline current after every customer conversation, and raising risks early enough that the team can still do something about them. Pipeline is created together, but nobody grows an account for you: the specialists who do best here are the ones who keep adding to what the team has built rather than waiting for it to arrive.

We also expect you to be Customer Zero. You use Copilot, Copilot Studio and agents in your own daily work, and you bring that lived experience into customer conversations as evidence rather than theory. The people who thrive here are pro-active, commercially curious, good teammates and comfortable being accountable for a number. If that description fits, you will enjoy both the freedom and the support this role gives you.

Qualifications

What we're looking for

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field and relevant years of technology-related sales or account management experience.

Proven sales success and business acumen, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets.

Experience selling business applications, CRM, ERP, low-code or SaaS solutions, and the ability to connect them to business process outcomes.

Demonstrated ability to run consultative, value-based sales cycles and to influence business decision makers up to board level.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and to work effectively as part of a virtual team and with partners.

Professional fluency in English, spoken and written, and the ability to be based in Amsterdam or Dublin, working in the office two days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field and relevant years of technology-related sales or account management experience

Relevant years of solution sales or consulting services sales experience.

Fluent Dutch is highly preferred. It is not a requirement, but it is a genuine advantage with customers in this market.

Hands-on knowledge of Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Copilot Studio or agent-based AI, ideally backed by Microsoft certifications.

Experience working with education, healthcare, care, social housing, non-profit or other public-purpose organisations.

Experience selling remotely or in a digital sales team, and understanding of partner ecosystems and how to co-sell with partners to meet customer needs.

Digital Solution Area Specialists IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across Netherlands is € 57,000.00 - € 86,100.00 per year.
