Job Title – Msite Systems Manager

Location – United Kingdom

Role Overview

To provide day-to-day support for MSite, the business wide Site Access Control and management system, and assist the Technical Services team in making effective use of business systems and maintaining the quality of the information they hold.

The initial focus will be taking ownership of routine MSite support activities, including responding to user queries, providing guidance and training, investigating issues, system administration and data housekeeping. The role will also involve developing an understanding of how MSite, Viewpoint for Projects, Field View and SharePoint are used across the business, how operational processes affect the information held within these systems, and where improvements to system use or data quality may be needed.

What you will be doing:

- Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day MSite support, investigating and resolving routine user, access, configuration and process issues. Work with Technical Services, Business Unit and project teams, IT/data specialists and the MSite provider to resolve issues and support improvements, providing operational context and escalating specialist or technical matters as required.
- Develop a detailed understanding of how MSite is used across the business and how operational processes affect system information; monitor recurring user queries and issues to identify opportunities for improved guidance, training, configuration or standardisation.
- Provide practical MSite guidance, demonstrations and training to project and Business Unit teams, maintaining user guides, FAQs, training materials and communications on processes, updates and changes.
- Carry out routine MSite administration, configuration and maintenance, and assist with project set-up, testing and the implementation of system changes and new functionality.
- Maintain and cleanse MSite data, including project information and legacy/current project codes, working with relevant teams to correct duplicate, incomplete, inconsistent or outdated records and support accurate matching between systems.
- Support the Technical Services team with audit information, reporting inputs and evidence relating to MSite use and process compliance.

About You:

- Experience within construction or a construction-related environment would be beneficial, along with an understanding of project or site-based processes.
- Experience of supporting users, coordinating operational processes or working with business systems in a busy environment.
- Experience of MSite or a similar workforce or site-management system would be advantageous but is not essential. More important is a proactive, curious and flexible approach, with the ability to learn systems quickly, understand operational processes and identify practical improvements.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate user and system issues, understand the underlying process and explain solutions clearly.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to support users with different levels of system knowledge and deliver practical training and guidance.
- An organised and methodical approach to system administration, data housekeeping and maintaining accurate records, with the ability to prioritise competing MSite user queries, routine administration and improvement activities.
- An understanding of the importance of data quality and how MSite configuration and use affect the accuracy and consistency of reporting.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
