About this role

Description
At the Novo Nordisk Foundation (NNF), our vision is to improve people’s health and the sustainability of society and the planet. That gives our work a real purpose, and it is why we need our data, digital solutions and AI to be used, not just built. Do you want to lead the team that makes that happen, and shape how a whole department runs its projects and change work? If so, join our Digital, AI & Data Excellence department as Team Lead for Digital Partnering & Adoption.

The position
The Digital & Data Excellence department supports and accelerates NNF’s strategic and digital ambitions. Around 15 colleagues work across two teams: Digital & Data Solutions builds and operates the grant management solution, the data foundation, in house build digital solutions and our AI capabilities, while Digital Partnering & Adoption, which you will lead, brings that work to the organisation through project and change management and business process management. In practice, most projects draw on people from both teams, so the two work as one department rather than as separate units.

You will join at a time of growing demand and major initiatives. Our new data platform went live in August 2026, our new grant management solution is entering design, and Focus 2030, NNF’s strategy, relies on data, systems and adoption.
We embed AI and data in our solutions rather than treating them as separate workstreams. Effective project delivery, change management and adoption are therefore essential to realising their value for NNF. Our culture is fun, supportive and informal, with high ambitions. As team lead, you will have real influence over how the department works, not just what it delivers.

The role
As our new Team Lead, you will have people leadership for the team and professional ownership of how the department runs projects and change management. You will set the framework, drive the digital portfolio sessions where priorities and capacity are decided, and set the direction for how we work with adoption of data and AI across NNF. You steer the work and enable the team to deliver it, rather than running projects yourself. Together with the head of department and the lead of Digital & Data Solutions, you form the department’s leadership team and share responsibility for the direction, priorities and culture of the department as a whole. You will report to the Head of Digital, AI & Data Excellence.

Main responsibilities:

- Lead, develop and grow the team, and build the project, change and business process capabilities the department needs
- Set and own the department’s framework for project and change management, and ensure it is applied on every project
- Chair our departments digital portfolio sessions on priorities, sequencing and capacity with the head of department and the lead of Digital & Data Solutions, and hold project leads accountable for budgets and resourcing
- Ensure the team qualifies incoming needs from the organisation well, so that the leadership team and stakeholders can decide what happens now, later and not at all
- Anchor cross-organisational collaboration.
- Set the direction for adoption of AI and data across NNF and raise the level of maturity
- Create the conditions for the team to find the opportunities nobody has looked at yet and turn them into approved business cases, with adoption as part of done

The role is based at NNF’s headquarters in Tuborg Havn within normal working hours. We are an office-first workplace, so you should expect to be on site as a rule, with flexibility by agreement.

Professional qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:

- Solid experience, typically around 8 years or more, several of them in project leadership, change management or business partnering in a digital or data context
- Experience leading people, formally, with a track record of developing individuals and building a team
- A record of taking deliveries end to end, from the first stakeholder conversation through to adoption
- Experience setting or maturing how projects and change are run in an organisation, beyond applying an existing method
- Experience prioritising a portfolio against finite capacity and cost, and holding a priority when demand exceeds capacity
- Experience building and defending a business case, and enough understanding of data, digital solutions and AI to challenge a design or an estimate
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Personal qualifications
We are looking for someone who aligns with our mission and values, and who is:

- A leader who develops people, gives direct feedback and builds confidence in first-time project leads
- Curious, convincing and persistent, able to spot the opportunity nobody has looked at yet
- Committed to the department’s success rather than optimising their own team. A collaborative leader who develops solutions together with their team and colleagues across the department rather than working alone, contributes to decisions beyond their own area, and works well with technical and non-technical colleagues
- Comfortable challenging a wish or a shortcut that would cost NNF later

Someone who contributes to a supportive and open working environment

You do not need to tick every box. If you recognise yourself in most of this and the role appeals to you, we would like to hear from you.
