We are currently recruiting for a x, for our Leicester plant, where we manufacture a range of products for the Healthcare market. This is an excellent opportunity to join us at Production level in a division that drives the business forward through x

## Working Pattern:

- Monday - Fridau, 0600 - 1400
- 37.5 hrs per week

## What is involved?

- Providing solutions for production here in the UK and America by following standard work procedures for each product, operating to a high degree of accuracy in weights, measures and timing. Ensuring inks required ‘on the day’ are manufactured in accordance with the production plan and production requirements which may include flexible working arrangements.
- Carrying out tests on the solutions and to prove correct performance before providing to QA for final approval.
- Ensure safe handling and storage of chemicals and solvents.
- Be competent in the use of laboratory manufacturing equipment – mixers, milling equipment.
- Reporting any production paperwork discrepancies to the Ink Laboratory Supervisor.
- To maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the ink laboratory ensuring that any defects are reported promptly to the appropriate responsible person.
- To ensure that the workplace is kept clean and tidy at all times maintaining.
- To represent the Company image as being one of high integrity at all times when representing the Company both internally and externally and behave in a manner both on and off duty befitting the Company image and standards.
- To be an active participant and contributor in process improvement.

## Preferred Experience

- Working within a Laboratory / science environment.
- Understanding the handling of chemicals in small and large quantities and the requirement for strict PPE use.
- Bachelors or Masters in respective field is beneficial but not essential.

- Operate with accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of working in a team environment
- A keen interest in science and making the job role your own.

Full training will be given to the right applicant with the opportunity to develop and learn other roles and processes within the laboratory.
