Are you an experienced software professional who thrives on solving complex technical challenges, building scalable enterprise solutions, and helping engineering teams adopt modern technologies and development practices? We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our technology team and play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting business-critical applications. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing solutions that drive business success. We are looking for someone who not only applies these technologies in their own work but also actively contributes to strengthening engineering capabilities across our teams. You will help introduce improvements, share knowledge, establish best practices, and support the adoption of tools and automation that improve software quality, security, and delivery efficiency.

## How you create impact

- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern software engineering practices.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of AWS infrastructure, ensuring that applications and services are secure, reliable, scalable, observable, and cost-efficient.
- Improve and automate CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, supporting efficient build, testing, security validation, and deployment processes across development teams.
- Promote application security (AppSec) and code quality practices, leveraging tools such as SonarQube, security scanning solutions, and automated quality gates to identify vulnerabilities and improve software maintainability.
- Explore, introduce, and apply AI-powered tools and automation across the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, code generation, code reviews, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and deployment processes.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive engineering activities, streamline workflows, and improve developer productivity, delivery speed, and product quality.
- Analyze business requirements, identify dependencies and risks, and contribute to solution architecture and technical design decisions.
- Ensure software quality through code reviews, automated testing, performance optimization, refactoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Own and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, infrastructure designs, technical specifications, and engineering knowledge repositories using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Wiki, or similar platforms.
- Mentor and support fellow developers, collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, UX Designers, and other stakeholders, and take ownership of solutions through deployment and production support.

## What we would like you to bring

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on software development experience within enterprise environments, including experience contributing to technical decisions and engineering improvements.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
- Solid experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Experience building and supporting REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ and/or Kafka.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud services
