Deloitte’s purpose is to make an impact that matters. In our Valuations team, you’ll help clients make consequential decisions across transactions, financial reporting and strategic change. You’ll lead complex engagements, turn rigorous analysis into clear and defensible advice, and develop talented colleagues.

The role centres on transaction, tax and financial-reporting valuations, with opportunities to contribute to other valuation assignments as client needs and your expertise align. Good understanding of and experience in valuation of MIPs, Growth shares and complex instruments will be a plus.

Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position:

- Substantial valuation experience gained in an advisory firm or relevant in-house role, including leading complex engagements and advising senior stakeholders.
- Sound judgement in applying income and market valuation approaches, assessing assumptions and sensitivities, and reaching defensible conclusions.
- Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to interpret financial statements and explain findings clearly.
- Experience managing engagement quality, deadlines, budgets and teams while building effective client relationships.
- The ability to identify opportunities to support clients further and contribute to the growth of the practice.
- A relevant professional qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, CBV or an equivalent, is preferred; we also welcome candidates with equivalent relevant experience.

What type of work will I be doing?

- Lead valuation engagements from scoping and planning through analysis, review, reporting and presentation to clients.
- Advise on buy-side and sell-side transactions, including target-company valuations and pricing analysis.
- Lead financial-reporting and tax valuations, including purchase price allocations and impairment-related work, and provide valuation input to relevant audit and tax engagements.
- Turn financial data and research into practical insights, explaining key value drivers, sensitivities and areas of judgement.
- Own the quality, risk management, budgets and delivery of your engagements, while building trusted client relationships and identifying further opportunities to help them.
- Coach colleagues, contribute to their development and help strengthen the team’s technical capability.
- Where relevant, contribute to valuations for corporate restructuring and to valuation or damages assessments in disputes and litigation.
