About the role:

The Transaction Management Team is responsible for the ongoing management and operational oversight of a portfolio of complex trade receivables finance and securitisation programmes following transaction close. The team acts as a key point of contact for corporate clients, investors, and other transaction parties, ensuring that reporting and critical funding processes are completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed timelines. Its responsibilities include reviewing investor and management reports, monitoring transaction performance, overseeing payments and reconciliations, managing operational issues and transaction changes, supporting audits and maintaining appropriate governance and controls. The team also works closely with internal stakeholders to improve processes, increase automation and ensure that programmes remain operationally robust, compliant and scalable throughout their lifecycle.

Your key responsibilities:

- Take ownership of the day-to-day management of a portfolio of trade receivables financing and securitisation programmes, working with senior Transaction Management colleagues on more complex matters.
- Review complex transaction and investor reports, ensuring that calculations, data and transaction mechanics are accurate and consistent with the relevant transaction documentation and reporting requirements.
- Investigate reporting discrepancies, cashflow breaks, data quality issues and other operational exceptions, coordinating their resolution with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Monitor transaction performance, key programme indicators and reporting requirements, identifying exceptions and escalating material issues where appropriate.
- Oversee recurring operational activities including payment processing, reconciliations, market data inputs and other transaction-specific requirements.
- Develop a strong understanding of the platform and its underlying processes, working closely with Client Implementation and Client Support teams to support the successful implementation and ongoing processing of transactions, and to identify and resolve operational or processing issues.
- Communicate directly with corporate clients, funders, auditors and service providers regarding reporting queries, transaction matters and operational requirements.
- Support transaction governance activities, including client meetings, audits, transaction changes and the maintenance of appropriate procedures and controls
- Support the onboarding and transition of new transactions into Transaction Management, ensuring ongoing operational and reporting requirements are understood and documented.
- Lead specific cross-functional projects and transaction initiatives, coordinating activities across relevant teams to deliver agreed outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls, automation and operational efficiency across the portfolio.
- Support and provide guidance to more junior colleagues, contributing to knowledge sharing and maintaining high standards across the team.

What you bring:

- Good knowledge and practical experience of structured finance, securitisation, trade receivables finance or a related financial-services environment.
- Experience reviewing financial or transaction reporting and a strong understanding of reporting controls, reconciliations and data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex transaction structures, identify discrepancies and investigate issues through to resolution.
- The confidence and judgement to take ownership of day-to-day transaction matters, while recognising when issues require senior escalation.
- Experience dealing directly with clients and multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with financial data, calculations and time-sensitive reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to explain complex issues clearly.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions, reporting deadlines and competing priorities.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement, with an interest in automation and improving operational controls.
- The ability to work collaboratively across teams and provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues.
