As our Deli/Bakery Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the department while working alongside your team to provide fresh, quality products and outstanding customer service.
What You'll Do:
- Lead, motivate, train, and develop department team members.
- Create a positive, respectful, and productive team environment.
- Oversee daily department operations, including inventory, ordering, production, merchandising, and scheduling.
- Ensure fresh, appealing products and excellent customer service.
- Maintain department cleanliness, food safety, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Monitor department sales, expenses, and productivity.
- Encourage teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong leadership, communication, and people skills.
- Previous deli/bakery leadership experience or management/supervisory experience in retail, grocery, or food service.
- Knowledge of baking, food preparation, and cake decorating.
- A team player who leads by example and takes initiative.
- Someone who is dependable, organized, customer-focused, and ready to take ownership.
