About The Role

We now have the opportunity for a AI Technical Lead to join our Technology Department.

📍 Location: Verisure Tech Hub - Alicante.

The role will be based at our new technology site in Alicante. Backed by over 1,800 technologists worldwide and powered by one of Europe’s largest IoT platforms.

🤝 Your Future Team

You will join the IT Telephony team, one of the most critical functions in our organisation. The team runs the contact center platform that connects Verisure with its customers in 18 countries across Europe and Latam.

🚀 The Opportunity

- Lead the technical transformation of our customer interactions, moving from traditional IVR and manual processes towards AI-powered conversational experiences across voice and digital channels.
- Shape and deliver AI agents and conversational solutions across the customer journey, from self-service and authentication to real-time agent assist, call summarization, automation and customer insights.
- Play a key role in our evolution from Genesys OnPrem to Genesys Cloud , defining how AI and agentic capabilities are embedded into our next-generation contact center architecture.
- Define architecture, engineering standards and key technical decisions , remaining hands-on when needed to ensure solutions are reliable, secure and scalable.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of AI Engineers and QA Engineers , acting as the technical reference and taking solutions from business requirements through architecture, engineering, deployment and production. Build your team's capabilities through mentoring.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, Security, Legal, platform teams and business stakeholders across different countries.

⚙️ Tech Stack

🧬 Required Qualifications

- Technical Leadership: previous experience as Tech Lead, translating business requirements into technical designs, defining architecture, guiding engineering decisions and taking solutions through development, deployment and production.

- AI in Production: experience designing and building AI/ML or LLM-based solutions, with at least one solution successfully deployed to production ; exposure to agentic systems, RAG, prompt engineering, evaluation and guardrails.

- Cloud-Native Architecture: experience designing cloud-native, distributed and integration-heavy solutions, ideally in AWS , with experience operating them in production.

- Engineering Excellence: Strong engineering practices across clean code, automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews, observability and production operations, with experience promoting shared standards through engineering chapters/communities of practice and mentoring other engineers.

- Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English
