Automotive Field Technician – Part-Time​

Schedule: 2–3 Days Per Week | 4–8 Hours Per Day (or until route is completed)
Route: El Centro, Imperial & Surrounding Areas
Pay: $24.00++ per hour

About the Position
Pro-MotionPix is hiring a dependable, hands-on Automotive Inventory Technician to service automotive dealerships throughout the El Centro and Imperial areas.
This is an active, part-time field position for someone who enjoys working around vehicles, staying productive, and managing their own daily assignments. You'll travel between assigned dealerships, locate vehicles, and use a company-provided iPhone and mobile app to capture photos, 360° spins, and videos for online vehicle listings.
No professional photography experience is required! We provide paid training and teach you our processes.
This is not a traditional creative photography job. It's a structured, process-driven position focused on vehicle inventory, accuracy, consistency, and getting the job done efficiently.
What You'll Do
• Travel between assigned dealerships using your own reliable vehicle.
• Locate vehicles and keys to complete daily inventory assignments.
• Move vehicles into designated photo areas on dealership lots.
• Capture vehicle photos, 360° spins, and videos using a company-issued iPhone and mobile app.
• Communicate with dealership staff regarding vehicle availability, missing keys, and inventory issues.
• Follow established procedures to ensure vehicles are properly documented and ready for online listings.
• Organize and complete assigned routes while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Represent Pro-MotionPix professionally at each dealership.

Who We're Looking For

Relevant experience includes:
• Automotive: Detailers, porters, lot attendants, lube technicians, and inventory specialists.
• Warehouse and material handling.
• Construction and skilled trades.
• Landscaping and grounds maintenance.
• Delivery driving and route-based positions.
• General labor and other physically demanding jobs.

Successful candidates are:
• Reliable with a consistent work history.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to walk dealership lots and stay on their feet throughout the day.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Organized with strong attention to detail.
• Professional communicators who can work with dealership staff.
• Resourceful problem-solvers who can handle challenges as they arise.
• Comfortable using smartphones and learning new technology.

Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of consistent work history preferred.
• Previous automotive, warehouse, construction, landscaping, delivery, or physical labor experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required.
• Ability to travel between assigned dealership locations.
• Comfortable performing physical tasks and working outdoors.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn and use mobile apps and technology.
• Manual transmission experience is a plus, but not required.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Compensation & Benefits
• $24.00++ per hour – Combination of base pay and per-vehicle photo incentives.
