- Take broad or ambiguous objectives and translate them into a structured path to the desired outcome, defining the major bodies of work, capabilities and epics, dependencies, sequencing, and measures of success required to deliver sustainable data products.
- Maintain a clear connection between strategic objectives, roadmap priorities, capacity constraints and executable work so product teams, delivery teams and stakeholders understand how individual initiatives contribute to broader business outcomes.

- Translate stakeholder needs into clearly desired outcomes, requirements, and practical definitions of success, including what “done” means from the consumer’s perspective.
- Support adoption and evolution of data products by ensuring platform capabilities translate into usable outcomes and incorporating consumer feedback and usage into ongoing priorities.
- Maintain transparency and alignment across stakeholders, leadership, and the Enterprise Data Team through clear, proactive communication of roadmaps, priorities, dependencies, risks, and key decisions. Identify and escalate unresolved conflicts and material tradeoffs through appropriate leadership forums.
Product–Technology Partnership & Delivery

- Foster strong partnership across product and delivery technology teams, balancing clear product direction with technical ownership, creativity, and accountability.
- Maintain strong agile and planning discipline while partnering across teams to deliver scalable, well-governed data products that help people and systems turn trusted data into timely insights, better decisions, and scalable automation.

- Facilitate prioritization and tradeoff decisions with the Enterprise Data Leadership team and across cross-functional teams. Identify and surface gaps, overlaps, conflicts, and dependency risks that could affect successful execution.
- Define and track meaningful outcomes across the product lifecycle, including business impact, adoption, usability, data quality, reliability, timeliness, and operational efficiency.
Leadership, Communication & Team Effectiveness
- Communicate roadmaps, risks, dependencies, decisions, and progress clearly, concisely, and in a way that is tailored to senior leaders, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Lead with strong judgment and emotional intelligence, particularly when navigating ambiguity, changing priorities, delivery challenges, feedback, and strongly held viewpoints.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of data product owners, providing clear direction, regular feedback, and performance management while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
