Quality Enterprises is looking for an Equipment Operator to join our team. The Equipment Operator operates heavy machinery for construction, demolition, or excavation projects.

Position Requirements
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Vocational school training or apprenticeship preferred.
- Experience operating construction equipment required; additional on-the-job training offered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates construction, excavation, hauling, and maintenance equipment including backhoes, front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, or grade tractors.
- Prepares construction sites for building, demolition, or excavation.
- Uses excavating machinery to dig holes and trenches.
- Transports tools and other construction equipment to and from construction sites.
- Uses equipment to prepare job sites for parking lots, sidewalks, roadways, and utilities.
- Operates machinery to build bridges and roads.
- Inspects equipment prior to beginning shift.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation and capabilities.
- Ability to read building plans related to structural concrete and land grades.
- Excellent mechanical skills.
- Ability to follow instructions.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of operating heavy machinery.
- Ability to work long periods including evenings and weekends when necessary.
- Must be able to operate machinery in extreme weather conditions and terrains.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
