Why Cedar Park?

Cedar Park gives you Austin's energy without the downtown hustle, with the Hill Country right on your doorstep.

- Lake days are close. Lake Travis is only about 10 miles away for swimming, boating, fishing, and wakeboarding, and you can even zip across it at Lake Travis Zipline Adventures.
- A park system that's hard to beat. Brushy Creek Lake Park covers 90 acres around a 38-acre lake, with kayaking, a fishing pier, splash pads, and a playground. The 7.5-mile Brushy Creek Bike Trail links parks across the city, and Lakeline Park has a 2.5-mile loop around its lake.
- Pro sports and live shows at home. The 8,700-seat H-E-B Center hosts Texas Stars hockey (the AHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars), Austin Spurs basketball, concerts, and family shows.
- Dog-friendly living. Cedar Park has a bark park, disc golf at Brushy Creek, and plenty of trails to hike with your own four-legged family member.
- Art, history, and a little weirdness. Walk the Cedar Park Sculpture Garden, tour the city's murals, or ride a vintage train through the Hill Country on the Austin Steam Train.
- Texas Hill Country wine and food. Visit Bent Oak Winery, browse the Cedar Park Farmers Market, and shop and dine at the 1890 Ranch and Lakeline area.
- Austin is a short drive away. Enjoy the live music capital's restaurants, music venues, and festivals whenever you want, and come home to a quieter neighborhood.
- A great place to put down roots. Cedar Park is known for its Leander ISD schools, friendly neighborhoods, and strong sense of community.
