Pay: $36–$42 per hour, based on experience + $5,000 Sign On
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Smiles in the Cove, led by Dr. Carandang, is looking for a dedicated, patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team!

We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, personalized dental care in a friendly and supportive environment. We believe in giving our hygienists the time, tools, and clinical support needed to provide exceptional patient care.

- One-hour recall appointments.
- One-hour SRP appointments (two quadrants).

Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive hygiene services, including prophylaxis and scaling and root planing (SRP).
- Complete periodontal charting and take dental X-rays.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Administer fluoride treatments and other preventive services.
- Identify oral health concerns and communicate treatment recommendations.
- Collaborate with Dr. Carandang and the team to provide excellent patient care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow infection control protocols.
- Build positive relationships and create a comfortable patient experience.

Qualifications

- Active Florida Dental Hygiene License required.
- New graduates and candidates awaiting licensure are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of periodontal charting, X-rays, prophylaxis, SRP, and patient education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, positive, and passionate about patient care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
