About this role

As a Water Project  Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and executing construction projects from start to finish. You will work closely with your Project team, Design team, contractors, utility companies, and other stakeholders to ensure successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Your technical expertise, organizational skills, and ability to effectively communicate will be key in coordinating and facilitating various aspects of the construction process. You will oversee complex, fast-paced construction environments involving Ultrapure Water (UPW) systems, Industrial Wastewater Treatment, Water Reclaim/Reuse, and related utility systems that keep the fab running without interruption.  You will own the full lifecycle of water infrastructure capital projects—from concept, design, and permitting through construction, commissioning, and handover—ranging from new projects to large-scale sustainability and resiliency upgrade projects.

- Lead end-to-end construction management of semiconductor water and wastewater facilities, from pre-construction, permitting, and design through construction, commissioning, and handover

- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and procurement strategies; identify critical infrastructure needs and support capital planning priorities

- Manage interfaces with UPW, water, and wastewater treatment vendors (EPC, installation, FAT, SAT, performance testing, and water quality qualification for UPW, process water, and wastewater effluent). Lead coordination for Ultrapure Water Systems, Industrial Wastewater Treatment Systems, Water Reclaim/Reuse, and Chemical Waste Neutralization

- Coordinate construction activities with Operations, Production, and Maintenance to minimize impact to water system reliability, fab uptime, and customer service

- Oversee construction schedule, quality control, installation of large-bore piping, tanks/vessels, pumps, filtration/RO/IX equipment, process equipment, electrical/instrumentation/controls, utilities tie-ins, and safety systems for water and wastewater areas

- Manage vendor interfaces for UPW, wastewater, and reclaim systems; coordinate delivery logistics, equipment set, hook-up, and high-capacity flow systems

- Track and review contractor invoices. Create, manage, update, and enforce overall project schedule based off project documents

- Review/approve designs, P&IDs, isometrics, engineering reports, submittals, contract documents, and change orders

- Experience in reading, interpreting, and implementing Contract Documents and Specifications. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, local authorities, industry standards, codes, and environmental discharge permits. Communicate and coordinate with all project stakeholders including contractors, Design/Engineering, QA/Commissioning, EHS, and Finance

- Provide leadership on complex infrastructure projects that support long-term sustainability objectives; mentor project engineers and field staff as needed

- 7+ years in construction project management - ideally in semiconductor fab construction, ultrapure water/wastewater systems, process piping, industrial/chemical plants, cleanrooms, or manufacturing facilities

- Specific water/wastewater or semiconductor/pharmaceutical facilities experience (e.g., 3+ years in UPW, industrial wastewater, or water reclaim systems) is highly valued

- Experience in heavy industrial / process environments including pumps, piping, process equipment, and controls systems

- Degree in Construction Management, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience

- Strong knowledge of construction practices, codes, regulations, permitting, and safety protocols; demonstrated strong safety culture

- Ability to coordinate with a broad group of stakeholders including internal teams (Operations, Production, Maintenance, EHS, Finance) and external contractors

- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Bluebeam, Primavera P6)
