Closing Specialist – Farm and Ranch Lending

Hall and Hall specializes in farm, ranch and recreational real estate lending, along with ranch brokerage, management and appraisals. We currently lend in 15 states to farmers, ranchers and other agricultural real estate investors, and our continued growth in new market areas has created the need for an additional Closing Specialist.

About the Role

The Closing Specialist helps move farm and ranch real estate loans from approval through closing and into servicing. You will work with borrowers, title companies and our lending team to prepare documents, meet closing requirements and keep every loan on schedule.

Responsibilities

- Prepare loan documents for farm and ranch real estate loans.
- Order title work and coordinate with title companies, borrowers and the lending team to meet closing requirements.
- Facilitate closings in a timely manner.
- Assist in servicing a portfolio of farm and ranch real estate loans.
- Track insurance and UCC filings.
- Keep customer and client information confidential.
- Follow company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

- Detail-oriented, with some knowledge of commercial lending.
- Basic knowledge of real estate title.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated, with a positive, results-driven and solution-oriented team attitude.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
