Deskside Support Technician

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- 2+ years of IT support, helpdesk, or deskside support experience.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with ability to support users at all levels.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Teams, and common desktop technologies.
- Experience deploying and supporting PCs, peripherals, and printers.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, VPN).
- Ability to follow ticketing discipline and meet communication expectations within ServiceNow.
- Must be able to obtain lawful access to export-controlled items. This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant’s ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/IT/IS, Business, Math, Engineering, Finance, Economics or Accounting from an accredited institution.
- CompTIA A+
- 2 years’ experience in IT Operating Systems, collaboration tools, and network topologies.
- 2 years’ experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, MFA, and basic account administration.
- 2 years’ experience with IT Support Chains.
