- Translate business and communications objectives into integrated programs that engage consumers, employees, business stakeholders and the media.
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships by anticipating emerging needs and recommending new ideas and solutions.

Corporate and Consumer Communications

- Develop communications strategies that connect corporate narratives with compelling, culturally relevant consumer stories.
- Support corporate reputation, executive visibility, thought leadership, brand positioning, product and service communications, and issues preparedness.
- Identify opportunities for clients to participate credibly in conversations related to business, culture, consumer behavior and industry trends.
- Create high-quality materials, including messaging, communications plans, press releases, media pitches, executive talking points, bylines, social content, award entries, white papers and presentations.
- Collaborate with digital, social, creative and analytics teams to deliver integrated programs across multiple channels.
- Use research, cultural insights and performance data to shape recommendations and strengthen program results.

Media and Influencer Relations

- Develop and execute earned media strategies spanning business, consumer, lifestyle, trade and top-tier national outlets.
- Build compelling stories using client news, executive perspectives, original research, consumer insights and cultural trends.
- Conduct proactive media outreach to secure corporate, feature, thought leadership and consumer-focused coverage.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant journalists, editors, producers and other media contacts.
- Monitor the news cycle and cultural landscape to identify timely media opportunities, emerging issues and potential newsjacking moments.
- Incorporate influencers and creators into integrated communications programs when appropriate to the client’s brand and objectives.

Requirements

- 6+ years of agency or in-house public relations or communications experience, including work across both corporate and consumer-facing brands.
- Experience managing integrated programs that combine corporate reputation, brand storytelling, executive visibility and earned media.
- Strong relationships with business, consumer, lifestyle, trade and top-tier media.
- Demonstrated ability to serve as a trusted day-to-day client lead and manage multiple account workstreams.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills across corporate, consumer and executive communications materials.
