About Axon 911

Axon 911 brings together Prepared and Carbyne under Axon. Together, we are creating the only platform that combines modern 911 infrastructure with an AI intelligence layer—helping public safety agencies move faster, make better decisions, and deliver better outcomes in the moments that matter most.

911 is the backbone of public safety, yet the professionals behind it have long been held back by outdated technology. Axon 911 is here to change that. Joining this team means more than taking a job—it means helping shape the future of emergency response and building a safer, more connected world.

We are looking for an Account Executive to drive our growth in the U.S. public safety market. In this role you will expand our reach and build new relationships across Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs), increasing our revenue and client base. It is a good fit for a strategic thinker with a strong sales background who wants to make a meaningful impact on our growth and on the safety of communities. If you are passionate about building lasting relationships and driving success in public safety, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

- Drive Growth: Hunt new business and expand revenue and market share across public safety agencies in your territory.

- Sell the Full Portfolio: Lead with the right entry point for a broad set of mission-critical and intelligence solutions, then build around the account over time.

- Build Relationships: Develop and deepen relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including 911 leaders, IT, and procurement, and multi-thread across each deal.

- Build Account Strategy: Build and execute account strategies, partnering with specialists and cross-functional teams to present compelling value propositions.

- Navigate Procurement: Work through government procurement processes and RFPs, using creative thinking to keep deals moving.

- Be in the Field: Spend significant time in front of customers across your territory.

- Share Market Insight: Report market trends and competitor activity to leadership.

What You Bring

- 3–7 years of field sales experience with a strong record of attaining quota.

- Hunter mentality with a track record of generating your own pipeline, prospecting into new accounts, and closing new business in the field.

- Experience selling into government or public safety, and skill at navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and large contract values.

- A strategic and analytical approach, with experience building account plans, managing pipelines, and closing complex deals.

- Excellent communication skills, and comfort working with senior decision-makers, technical buyers, and cross-functional teams.

- Self-motivation and adaptability in fast-moving environments, and the ability to work without close supervision.

- Willingness to travel approximately 50% for in-person meetings, relationship-building, and deal progression.

- Nice to have: public safety experience and knowledge of NG9-1-1, CAD, or call-handling systems.
