The Role

Entegris is currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our team. This position will be based in our Reno, NV facility.

What You’ll Do

- Safely set up, operate, monitor, and perform basic adjustments on manufacturing equipment in accordance with standardized work instructions, safety requirements, and production standards.

- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues, perform tooling and component changes, and communicate operational, maintenance, and quality concerns to appropriate personnel.

- Conduct routine quality checks, sample finished products, complete required documentation, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

- Maintain efficient production by monitoring multiple processes, minimizing downtime and material waste, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

- Mix, weigh, measure, and process raw materials and chemicals according to batch sheets and product specifications, using basic mathematical calculations and unit conversions as required.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety, environmental, and housekeeping requirements, including but not limited to transport and disposal of hazardous chemicals and wastes.

- Other responsibilities as assigned in support of the overall organization.

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Experience working in a clean room environment
- Knowledge of production procedures
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
- Analytical skills helpful
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork and willingness to do additional tasks as assigned
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Work independently as well as part of a team
