THE ROLE

pump.fun is becoming the place where crypto trades in public. To grow the social graph on the pump.fun app, we need to onboard the top traders in the world across every market we support - and the pump.fun trading terminal is at the heart of it. When great traders trade in the open, everyone else follows. That flywheel starts with you.

We're hiring a Trading Terminal Business Development lead to own this market. Your job: win the power users. Bring the fastest trench traders, high-volume traders, whales and the biggest creators in the ecosystem onto the pump.fun terminal, and make it the place they trade, share positions and build a following.

This is a hands-on, front-line role, not account management. You'll find traders, win them, onboard them and make them stick - then turn what you learn into a playbook for the next thousand. You'll sit close to product and engineering, so the feedback you bring in becomes features in days, not quarters. It's one of three new BD seats at Baton, alongside Perps and Prediction Markets.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Find and win the traders who move markets - map the top traders, KOLs, whales, etc. in your market and get them trading on the pump.fun app
- Own your pipeline end to end - from the first DM on X or Telegram to onboarded, active and trading in public
- Grow the social graph - get high-signal traders sharing positions, calls and PnL on pump.fun so their followers come with them
- Design deals that work for both sides - referral, ambassador, creator and partnership structures that are worth a top trader's time and tied to measurable activity
- Be the voice of the trader inside Baton - bring sharp, specific feedback to product and engineering, and help shape the features your market needs
- Show up where traders are - online across Crypto Twitter, Telegram and Discord, and more
- Track what matters - traders onboarded, retained activity, volume and social engagement
- Build the playbook - each seat is the first of its kind at Baton; what works for you becomes how we grow the market

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 2+ years of experience leading BD at a crypto company (or adjacent - fintech, trading, betting, gaming or the creator economy), with a track record of driving outsized impact within an organization
- A real network in the trenches - you know the high-volume traders and creators who move the market, and they answer your messages
- Trench-native fluency - you understand on-chain trading, token launches, liquidity, slippage and execution, and the terminals and bots where serious trench traders live, and you can talk to a pro trader as a peer
- A closer's instinct - you can structure a deal, negotiate incentives, and know when a partnership is worth it and when it isn't
- Relentless follow-up - you keep a clean pipeline, follow through on every thread and turn conversations into results
- Clear, confident communication - you write well, speak the language of Crypto Twitter, and represent the company with good judgment
- A scrappy, high-energy operator mindset - you thrive in a fast-paced, resource-lean environment where you're building the playbook as you go

NICE TO HAVE

- BD or partnerships experience at a trading terminal, trading bot, exchange or trading platform (Axiom, Photon, GMGN, BullX, Trojan or similar)
- An active trench trader yourself - with a following on X or in trading communities
- You've launched or scaled a referral, affiliate or ambassador programme
- Reach into non-English speaking trading communities, especially Chinese-speaking

HOW WE'LL MEASURE SUCCESS

- First 30 days: The trading terminal landscape mapped - a ranked target list of the top trench traders, groups and creators - with the first onboardings live and a feedback loop running with product
- First 90 days: A repeatable onboarding programme, a cohort of high-volume traders active and trading in public on the pump.fun terminal, and clear numbers on activity and retention
- First 180 days: The trading terminal a meaningful and growing share of pump.fun 's trading activity and social graph - and pump.fun the go-to terminal for the top traders in the world

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

- Base salary: $200,000 - $1,000,000, depending on experience and scope
- Performance-related compensation: Generous bonus structure linked to the traders, volume and activity you bring in - including token participation depending on level
- Benefits and relocation support: To be confirmed for this role

LOCATION & ELIGIBILITY

- New York preferred, working in person with our team. For exceptional candidates we will consider remote work with strong overlap with New York hours and regular time in New York.
