About the opportunity:

As our Automation Solutions Executive, you’ll bring people, processes and technology together to unlock smarter ways of working across Charter Hall’s national Retail portfolio. Turning business challenges into practical digital solutions. Helping our teams focus on what matters most - creating lasting value for our customers, investors and communities.

How you’ll make an impact:

- Shape smarter ways of working by partnering with Retail teams to simplify processes, remove friction and deliver improvements that scale across our national portfolio.
- Turn business challenges into practical solutions , connecting stakeholder needs with technology that improves efficiency, consistency and everyday experiences.
- Bring digital initiatives to life , leading delivery from discovery and design through testing, deployment and adoption to create lasting business value.
- Connect our systems and unlock automation , using integrated workflows and responsible applications of AI to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
- Make improvements count , tracking performance, adoption and benefits, and using insight and feedback to keep refining how we work.

What you’ll bring to the team

- Future focused capabilities including self-awareness, resilience, agility and generosity.
- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong time management skills, initiative and an ability to prioritise.
- A relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years’ experience delivering software implementations, systems integrations, digital products, automation or technology transformation initiatives in a complex stakeholder environment.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, requirements analysis, APIs, cloud applications, integration patterns, testing and release management.
- Experience in retail property, property management, asset management, customer service or another operationally complex environment is desirable
- Ability to translate operational needs into practical technical designs, delivery plans and testable outcomes.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Dynamics or related enterprise technologies is highly regarded.
- Hands-on capability in one or more of software development, scripting, SQL, data modelling, business intelligence, workflow automation or solution configuration.
- Working knowledge of cyber security, privacy, data governance, records management, solution architecture and technology risk controls.
