- Lead the implementation and ongoing oversight of clinical and care governance frameworks to support safe, effective and high-quality service delivery across the organisation.
- Provide strategic advice and assurance reporting to senior leaders, governance committees and the Board on quality, safety, compliance and emerging risks.
- Develop, review and maintain national operational policies, procedures and practice frameworks that support consistent, evidence-informed service delivery.
- Monitor changes in legislation, regulatory standards and accreditation requirements, leading organisation-wide responses to ensure ongoing compliance and best practice.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including people with lived experience, to strengthen governance, accountability and service excellence.
Requirements for success

- Extensive experience leading quality assurance, clinical governance, risk, compliance or continuous improvement functions within complex human services environments.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and oversee quality, safety and governance frameworks that strengthen service delivery outcomes.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to build, mentor and inspire high-performing teams through values-based leadership
- Demonstrated experience in leading change across complex organisations.
- Strong understanding of regulatory, accreditation and compliance requirements across community services, including clinical and non-clinical service settings.
- Experience developing organisational policies, practice frameworks and quality improvement initiatives that drive consistency, accountability and excellence.
