Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and solution-oriented Senior Software Engineer to manage the delivery, enhancement, and support of business-critical applications. This role acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure application solutions are delivered efficiently, meet business requirements, and comply with governance, audit, and risk standards.

What You Will Be Doing

- Manage the delivery of application enhancements, change requests, and system improvements in collaboration with business stakeholders, Engagement Managers, vendors, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Develop and recommend technical solutions that align with existing technology architecture and ecosystem standards.
- Collaborate with Squad Leads and delivery teams to define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and implementation plans.
- Analyze business processes, gather requirements, identify improvement opportunities, and implement effective solutions.
- Review business and functional requirements to ensure completeness and alignment with business objectives.
- Review and validate System Integration Testing (SIT) scope, test scenarios, and quality outcomes.
- Identify delivery risks, dependencies, and issues proactively, and implement appropriate mitigation plans.
- Drive operational excellence by promoting delivery best practices, process optimization, and high-quality execution standards.
- Build a strong understanding of application functionality and business operations to recommend system and process improvements.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot incidents, and coordinate root cause analysis to ensure system stability.
- Support post-implementation activities, including issue resolution, user support, and solution adoption.
- Ensure compliance with technology governance, audit requirements, risk controls, and organizational delivery processes throughout the application lifecycle

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 3-7 years of experience in application delivery, business analysis, system implementation, or IT project delivery.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile delivery methodologies, and change management processes.
- Experience working with business stakeholders, vendors, development teams, and cross-functional project squads.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in requirement analysis, testing coordination, and production support activities.
- Knowledge of incident management, root cause analysis, and application lifecycle management.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
- Familiarity with governance, risk, compliance, and audit requirements within IT environments is an advantage.
