Job description:
Experience required: 5-12 years
Primary skills required:
Snowflake, AWS, and dbt (Data Build Tool). Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in building and managing cloud-based data engineering and analytics solutions using these technologies.
Snowflake
- Design and work with Snowflake databases, schemas, views, and RAW, STG, and MART data layers.
- Manage access using RBAC, role hierarchies, row-level security, and column-level access policies.
- Work with dynamic tables, external stages, Snowpipe, and batch data loading.
- Build and support reliable, production-grade Snowflake data pipelines.
dbt
- Develop source, staging, intermediate, and mart models, including incremental models, seeds, snapshots, and exposures.
- Create and maintain dbt tests, including not-null, uniqueness, referential-integrity, and business-logic tests.
- Maintain dbt documentation and lineage; manage source freshness and impact analysis.
- Use macros and Jinja templating.
- Manage dbt Cloud jobs or trigger dbt pipeline runs through APIs.
- Integrate ELT pipelines across dbt and Snowflake.
