Product Manager

The Integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (I-ERP) initiative is modernizing Finance and Purchasing capabilities by replacing legacy technology with modern, cloud-enabled solutions. A key part of this transformation is the modernization of invoicing and related business processes through SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based integration services. As the Technical Product Manager – Middleware & Cloud Integration , you will own the technical design and delivery of middleware capabilities connecting legacy applications, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and SAP S/4HANA. You will work closely with architecture, SAP, product, security, business, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into secure and reliable technical solutions. You will also provide technical leadership and oversight to supplier engineering teams, ensuring solutions meet established standards for architecture, development, testing, deployment, security, performance, and operational readiness. The successful candidate will combine deep Java and cloud engineering expertise with enterprise integration architecture, technical leadership, and strong stakeholder management.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience using Java.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing applications using Spring Boot or related Java technologies.
- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud-native REST APIs.
- Experience with enterprise API-management platforms such as Apigee.
- 3+ years of cloud application development experience using Google Cloud Platform or another major cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
- Experience designing and supporting cloud-native applications, including containerized workloads and asynchronous or event-driven integration patterns.
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Terraform or comparable Infrastructure as Code tooling.
- Experience with application observability, monitoring, production support, and incident management.
- Demonstrated experience designing secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise integrations.
- Demonstrated technical leadership across engineering teams and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with Google Cloud services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Run Jobs, Cloud Scheduler, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Monitoring.
- Experience integrating legacy or mainframe applications with SAP S/4HANA or another enterprise resource planning platform.
- Experience with Kubernetes and managed container platforms such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
- Experience with Apache Kafka or comparable event-streaming and messaging technologies.
- Experience with Angular or another modern front-end framework.
- Experience overseeing supplier, vendor, or partner engineering teams.
- Experience using AI-assisted software-development tools.
- Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), AI agents, AI development tools, or Model Context Protocol (MCP).
