About this role

Mid-Level UX/UI Designer
Location: London
Division: BRAHMA AI Studio
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Reporting To: UX Director

Generative AI is transforming media creation, but raw power means nothing without intuitive, human-centred design. At Brahma AI, we are building the unified operating system for enterprise media content.

Our ecosystem brings two flagships together:

- Brahma AI Studio: The creative powerhouse running our flagship proprietary models—ATMAN (photorealistic digital human synthesis) and VAANI (authentic multilingual voice synthesis).
- Brahma AI Core: The enterprise backbone orchestrating asset ingestion, contextualisation, deep metadata discovery, governance, and petabyte-scale distribution.

We are seeking a Mid-Level UX/UI Designer to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI models and friction-free user workflows. Working within our Product Design team, you will transform complex multi-modal generation pipelines into elegant, production-grade digital experiences.

What You’ll Do

- Design Next-Gen Generative AI Workflows: Craft intuitive user journeys, visual layouts, and interaction patterns for prompt UX, generation queues, output comparison loops, voice controls, and photorealistic avatar synthesis.
- Unify the Product Experience: Map seamless end-to-end user journeys connecting asset management in Brahma Core with real-time generative editing inside Brahma Studio.
- Scale the Design System: Champion, expand, and enforce our tokenised Figma component library, crafting reusable variables and complex interaction states.
- Prototype & Validate: Build high-fidelity interactive prototypes to demo intricate micro-interactions, pressure-test generative flows, and gather qualitative/quantitative user insights.
- Drive Cross-Functional Delivery: Partner daily with Product Managers, Frontend/Fullstack Engineers, and System Architects to turn complex specs into production-ready designs that honor technical constraints.
- Architect Edge Cases: Deliver comprehensive UI specifications, covering streaming states, asynchronous loading, prompt fallbacks, error handling, empty states, and role-based permissions.

What We Are Looking For

- Experience: 3–5 years of dedicated UX/UI product design experience within enterprise SaaS, creative tooling, or complex web applications.
- Generative AI Familiarity: Hands-on experience designing for AI-assisted or generative workflows (e.g., prompting interfaces, batch processing, queue systems, review loops, or human-in-the-loop interactions).
- Figma & Design System Fluency: Deep expertise with Figma—Auto Layout, component properties, design tokens, responsive frames, and multi-tier library governance.
- Systems & Enterprise Thinking: Demonstrated ability to map deep, interconnected multi-surface workflows, access controls, permissions, and hierarchical content structures.
- AI-Native Workflow: Daily proficiency leveraging modern AI tools (such as Figma AI, Claude, v0, Cursor) to supercharge your design exploration and rapid prototyping.
- Craft & Technical Polish: Exceptional visual craft (typography, grid systems, colour balance) paired with a clear grasp of modern web frontend possibilities and technical boundaries.
- Proven Portfolio: A design portfolio showcasing end-to-end case studies, wireframing, high-fidelity UI, interactive prototypes, and clear product-thinking rationales.

Nice to Have

- Prior experience designing for Digital Asset Management (DAM), Media Asset Management (MAM), video post-production tools, or audio/video editors.
- Exposure to digital human creation interfaces, voice cloning platforms, or visual node-graph workflows (e.g., ComfyUI).
- Baseline understanding of modern frontend stacks: HTML, CSS/Tailwind, React component structures, or automated design token pipelines.
- Experience thriving in distributed, remote-first engineering teams across European/global time zones.

Who You Are

- Proactive & Autonomous: You take ownership of ambiguous problem spaces, driving clarity and momentum without waiting for permission.
- Ego-Free Collaborator: You thrive when partnering with engineers and product managers, welcoming candid feedback and prioritising team outcomes.
- Detail-Obsessed:  You spot inconsistent padding, mismatched tokens, and rogue alignment before anyone else in the room.
- Tinkerer & Fast Learner: You stay ahead of emerging UX conventions in generative AI and love testing new interaction models.
- Articulate Communicator:  You can explain design trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
