Account Manager (US Remote or Bellingham, WA)

That’s the person we’re hiring.
You’ll own and grow a portfolio of specialty coffee roasters. You’ll start with a book at roughly half capacity and are expected to take it to full capacity within 6–9 months. That means picking up the phone and calling people who don’t know us yet. Cold outreach is part of the job. We’d rather you know that now.
What you’ll do
- Own relationships and drive growth through renewals, upselling, and new accounts
- Track and hit monthly bag targets while protecting margins (pricing, carry charges, and contract accuracy matter)
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers: solve problems, keep roasters informed, and build trust
- Use HubSpot and our sales tools to keep records clean and decisions grounded in data
- Occasionally travel (25–40%) to customer meetings, events, and origin trips (passport required)
What you bring
- Experience managing accounts or selling, ideally in specialty coffee or a related industry
- Strong knowledge of green coffee (Guatemala and Peru experience is a plus)
- Clear written and verbal communication, and comfort in sales conversations
- Comfort with numbers, CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), Airtables, and Google Workspace
- A careful, accurate approach. You double-check before you commit.
Pay and benefits
- $60,000 to $90,000 OTE
- 3% retirement match, laptop, monitor, and company phone
- Regular business hours with occasional evening/weekend work around peak seasons and travel
