We are looking for a Cross Border Key Account Specialist to join our EuroDirect team. In this position, you will serve as the central point of contact between our branches, internal departments, carriers, and key account customers, ensuring the smooth execution of Full Truck Load (FTL) and Less Than Truck Load (LTL) transport operations across Europe.

You will coordinate transport activities, manage customer requirements, support tender and onboarding processes, and help drive high service performance in line with agreed service levels. The role combines operational expertise, customer focus, commercial awareness, and problem-solving skills, making it ideal for a proactive logistics professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced international environment.

## How you create impact

- Act as the primary internal contact for key account-related enquiries and issue resolution.
- Manage transport bookings while ensuring data accuracy and timely processing.
- Coordinate closely with branches and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth transport execution.
- Monitor shipments and proactively manage operational exceptions.
- Maintain account profiles, SOPs, and working instructions to ensure service consistency.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc performance reports for internal stakeholders and carriers.
- Support the implementation of new business opportunities and service changes.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and customer pain points.
- Assist with customer reviews, tenders, and related documentation.
- Obtain competitive freight rates and manage carrier communications.
- Process customer bookings efficiently and ensure correct supplier allocation.

## What we would like you to bring

- Experience within a Full Truck Load (FTL) and/or Less Than Truck Load (LTL) forwarding environment.
- Experience in European road freight forwarding operations.
- Strong understanding of freight weights, dimensions, vehicle capacities, and load optimisation.
- Proven ability to solve operational challenges and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commercial mindset with experience negotiating rates and managing carrier relationships.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of results.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of customs procedures, transport legislation, and P&L management is considered a plus.
